If it’s time to give your home a fresh coat of paint, it’s important to hire a good house painter to do the job right. You’ll want a house painter who has experience painting the exteriors of other homes similar to yours. Don’t be afraid to ask for photos of recent projects and check references. Make sure you and the painter agree on your expectations for the project. Make sure any potential painter knows how many coats of paint you require, if you want primer, and that you want the prep done work properly — be prepared to pay extra if necessary. Ask to see a copy of the painter’s liability insurance and workers compensation coverage, too, and check their reputation with the Better Business Bureau. Denver House Painting Service

Eric and his assistant painted my porch floor, my patio and its edging, and several places inside. Then i hired Eric to come back and stain about 150 feet of wood fence. They cleaned the fence first with water machine which took the old stain off and some painting I had done. They let it dry overnight and came back the next day to spray the stain. It looked like a brand new fence! House Painting Service Denver
Over time, even the best paint job needs a new coat. Old paint peels and fades and those colors that were all the rage ten years ago can start to look a bit dated. With your busy schedule, you've got no time to pick up a paintbrush, and you've just remembered that your in-laws are in town for dinner next week! We hear stories like this all the time, and our reply is always the same: don't panic! Book a painting professional through the Handy platform. Wall painting shouldn’t be stressful and when you use the Handy platform, it won’t be. House Painting Service Denver
Homeowners may be tempted to try to save money by painting their home’s exterior themselves. Before rushing into a DIY house painting project, it’s wise to assess the situation realistically. First of all, decide whether you have the experience and necessary tools to take on an exterior house painting job. Factor in how much time the project will take given your schedule. Consider how big your home is, including how tall it stands. Assess whether it will be easy to rest ladders on the land surrounding your house. Be sure you are set to go through every step of the house painting job, from prepping the home’s exterior to balancing on ladders to apply the paint.
We hired Platinum Painting to paint and stain the exterior of our home in May. Overall, I’d give them an “A” for painting and a “C” for staining. We had gotten three other estimates but chose Platinum Painting because they were able to schedule us when it accommodated our schedule. The communication was excellent prior to and during the project with the exception of the exterior stain color. The day of the project the crew arrived a little early and got started immediately. They were very neat and cleaned up after the project. The painting was excellent but they missed a side of a cedar post during the staining. Also, we hated the stain color they chose. I contacted the project manager immediately and he told me they would re-stain with another color and would be sure to stain the post that was missed. From that moment I felt like I got the runaround from the project manager. When I did hear from him he would give very short notice (about 18 hours) as to a date to re-do the stain. I reminded him about our schedule multiple times and would provide him potential dates and times. There were times I wouldn’t hear from the project manager for 2 weeks. It ended up taking almost 10 weeks for them to come out and re-stain. They were very neat and cleaned up but ended up missing another post and the cedar door stain was splotchy. I didn’t even contact them with this issue because I didn’t want to hassle with them for another 10 weeks. Also, no one contacted me to ask if it was done properly so my husband stained those areas. My advice is to use Platinum Painting for painting but find another company for the stain. Also, don’t pay the the entire amount until you know the job is done correctly.
